Download Instructions

To download Combinatorial Game Suite:

1. Make sure that you are running Java version 1.5 or later (you can type java -version to check). You can always obtain the latest version (currently 1.6.0) from http://java.sun.com.

2. Start the download by clicking on the link below.  This will take you to pages where you can choose a mirror; just select the nearest location and click the corresponding icon in the "Download" column.

3. Extract the cgsuite-0.7.zip archive, change to the cgsuite-0.7/ directory and:

• If you're using Windows, double-click the cgsuite.jar file.
• If you're using Unix or Linux, type java -jar cgsuite.jar.

Then follow the instructions on the screen, and you're ready to go!  Some other resources that might be useful (these are also available within Combinatorial Game Suite, under the Help menu):

Combinatorial Game Suite is open-source.  Source code for the latest version is available on the Sourceforge files page, but be aware that the cgsuite-src archive contains only the source code.
